During the 1920s, Jejamma (Anushka) happens to be the daughter of the ruler of Gadwal and she is an epitome of virtue, humanism and compassion. She takes care of her subjects with utmost care and concern.
Pasupathy (Sonu Sood), husband of Jejamma’s sister, is a cruel character, who goes on exploiting the women folk and ravaging them with bestial rape. He even rapes and kills Jejamma’s blind dance teacher, which is the last straw for the patience of Jejamma. Pasupathi is beaten by the people and dragged by a horse into the forest.
The people and the rulers assume the end of him. However, he is saved by Aghora tantriks who teach him the secrets of sorcery.
When the black magician turned Pasupathi tries to sexually assault Jejamma, he is trapped and buried alive.
Jejamma takes a rebirth in the same family after four generations and named Arundhathi (Anushka). At the time of her marriage, the evil spirit of Pasupathi comes out of the shackles and starts terrorizing Arundhathi.
The rest of the story deals with how Arundhathi decimates the evil spirit of Pasupathi with the help of a fakir (Sayaji Shinde).
